wow! look at that Garud Ang Khola handle!
and a grey yak horn handle

Somebody please take that Kumar Karda, I already ordered a spyderco calypso jr and a kabar dozier today

I love those Sarge handles. Wish I could get one of his "new" WWII's. They don't look much like the standard WWII blade shape IMO, and they have that sweet chainpuri handle. To me the chainpuri's and chitlangi's are easiest to swing hard because of the big bell on the handle, and here he does the same handle on a real chopper. And no habaki bolsters on his knives!

These are great prices by the way. Two months ago a similar dhankuta kothimoda by the sarge with horn handle was going for $75. I did get one with some beautiful white streaks in the horn though that is really nice looking, which is what caught my eye about it in the first place.

I'll bet the hardest part about making a yak handle is catching the yak!

Regards,

Norm

I can't believe the Kumar Karda with antler handle has not gone yet.
I received one yesterday. Absolutley beautiful and well made. Just neede a little bit on the strop to make it ideal.

Dayum if I'm not tempted to order this one. I'll just cool off for a while. ;)

Actually, upon first seeing this early on, I made my email up, than decided to wait for someone else to snag it. Where are all the sharks? Excellent Xmas gift!

Wow...congrats to whoever snagged the WWII.

I'm tempted with the Garud...that's the nicest I've seen....

I gotta wonder if that more tapered WWII tip shape is as strong. I just dunno. One of the benefits of the "HI Tanto" :) is that it stays deep until close to the end. These are IMO way prettier. But I gotta wonder about durability.

Those Sgt WW2's with the Chainpure handle are killing me. I love that size and weight range also. Maybe I will be near the computer when the next one posts. I really like the work the Sgt does. Clean old style looks with good hardening and edges, and some of the best looking handles I have ever seen! I bet that would be a great workhorse to boot.

Groovy. I'm relatively new and not too familiar with him. If you say so, I'll sure as heck believe it, Yvsa. Good to hear. I'll have to get one some day! They sure are good-lookin! If they're just as durable, then these would seem to be the way to go!

Thanks, Yvsa,

Namaarie
