First of all, thanks to everyone who told me to go to little machine shop. I bought a 3 in mill vise, and was able get my mill going like i wanted..so no more filing,well at least not as much filing for guards and such. I got three knives ready to put guards on in about 30 minutes..it was very nice..do most of you who use mill machines use carbide tools[end mills]? Anyway thanks again for all your help.
