A black on black Paramilitary recently appeared at a local dealer. It was more temptation than I could handle. I have to say that I"m very impressed with the compression lock. It looks like the only way that it could fail is if the anvil pin shears off. It's an unusually strong lock. I'm surprised that Spyderco doesn't offer it on more models. The Para is a good companion to the Military that quickly became my go-to knife around the house after I bought it in January.
