We had some nice weather yesterday, so I decided it was time to rejuvenate the drainage ditch around my property. One of my goals for this summer is to have a lawn that is more grass than moss, and to do that I need to get some water out of there. My trusty companion, and one of my first Busse knives, the FFBM got to come out and play.

Unfortunately, my mistress was way too efficient and the fun only lasted a few minutes.

And then the real work began.

Fortunately its raining and snowing this morning, so I can pretend my back doesn't hurt and that I don't have stabbing pain shooting down my hamstrings, instead of trying to come up with an excuse not to do the other side. :foot:

Hey Bro, Looks like you're hanging in down there!!! Man I miss Southeast and still say on a clear day there is NO where more beautiful in the US. I took this last Monday 2-25.

Nice work. Rest up for your next day of fun. You can send some of that water my way. My yard is nothing but blow sand.

It looks like you had a great time! Even if it didn't last that long, your mistress was very efficient! Thanks for sharing!

We had quite a bit of snow in December and January. I think I plowed my driveway every single day for three weeks. But February was warm and lots of rain, so all the snow is gone and the ground is thawed. In town anyway... It is still too early to head into the hills though.
