More than one shade of blue handles on the Delica 4 FFG C11FPBL 1422 (CO) !?

I just picked up a Delica 4 FFG, but the handles appear to be a lighter shade of blue than certain video reviews of the same model. I think that it is owing to lighting and/or a filter on the video camera. Also, it could have something to do with still vs. video photography. Anyway, I just want to make sure that this knife has not been offered with more than one shade of blue?

This video illustrates my point. The still shot in the beginning shows a Delica with lighter handles than the actual video portion of the review : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agOyu0b1qy8

I'm sure the maker tries to keep the color consistent between batches. As you noted, the color of a single knife can vary greatly between one photograph and another due to differences in lighting, camera, or processing.

OTOH, the NLEOM version may use a different shade of blue from the "regular" FFG version and there may be someone out there who has dyed a grey or purple one blue.

I suspect it's a filter on the still/video camera that makes their knife " pop " more. However, I'm a little suspicious because it was ordered from Amazon. And the lady that bought it would be pissed if it was a fake as she is a Texan , after all. :)

I appreciate your advice , Deacon. Very kind of you, sir.

Please don't take offense but, given you continued suspicions about this knife, perhaps it would be worth the cost of postage and the $5 Spyderco asks for return shipping to send it to them for authentication.
