Hi, folks.

I recently found a Sod Buster Jr. at my local Grocery store (I live in the middle of nowhere, over 100 miles to the nearest knife store) and picked it up. I've had a full sized Case Sod Buster for some time, but found that I like the Jr. a little better.

So - does anyone else make a Sod Buster the same size as the Jr.?

TIA. :)

The GEC Bullnose is similar in size.... maybe a touch bigger.

Next to the Yeller SB Jr.

Queen Country Cousin
Eye Brand (Carl Schlieper), in both small and large versions
Brown Mule (maybe 3 sizes available)
Bulldog (identical pattern as the Eye Brand, but finished to higher polish/refinement)
A.G. Russell Rancher (somewhat wider, but comparable)

My Queen #70 Country Cousin in green micarta is a terrific little knife, with it's great D2 steel.
Notice the less abrupt belly to the Queen, which profile I prefer.

The Otter Hippekniep knives are available in several sizes, the smallest (or the medium sized) should be in the size of the Case Soddie Jr. Though they are only available with wooden handles. (And I donßt know if they are shipped to the US...)

AND: Something to add: Their F&F can be a little rough sometimes, they are built as working knives for people that actually use their knives hard. On some there are gaps and or not really fixing scales...

Hey, I already sealed it in the envelope! :D It's new, unused, feel free to hang onto it, or gift it your brother :)

I picked up this one by Phil Tham, its a bit bigger than the Jr. and feels great in the hand! Cut's like crazy too S30v steel.. :)

Woodrow F Call & Obsessed with Edges - thanks for the suggestions. :)

Wow, never realized the full size Sodbuster is so much bigger. Good thing I bought the small one.
Good thread by the way, been meaning to pick one up from another brand.
