I got to thinking about what it is to be a Beckerhead. Its not just a number its a lifestyle, a different outlook on everyday life, a family.
When I first started posting on this forum I quickly learned that being a Beckerhead was something different and special. I went back and read post from years ago when the Beckerheads first got started. These Mossyback Heads are a wealth of talent and knowledge. I wasn't sure if I had what it took. To be honest I was a little intimidated. But they didn't care that I was a newbie, when I couldn't figure out how to post a picture they talked me thru it. I learned how to reply and quote with there help. Hell im probally one of the few who actually understands Bladites post lol He is crazy funny by the way. The Beckerheads gave me nothing but encouragement sometimes thru a bit of snark but in a productive way and little by little I gained my footing. I no longer stayed in the shadows just reading. Eventually I earned my #384. And I'm Damn proud to have it. Warrior generously made me a awesome Sig not just one but multiples to chose from, 91bravo sold me his highly detailed Bk5 bravo lost money on that for sure but that wasn't the point. He was letting it go to a Brother. FAL'ER out of nowhere shipped me some original Beckerhead patches. I didn't ask he just did it. Warrior and Knifejunkie1928 took the lead on these new patches this is time away from there real familys to do something special for there Beckerhead family just because. Two days ago I bought a RSK MK2 and a Bk4 from an old Beckerhead named Tankerwolf. I dont know him and he doesnt know me. He said he included a little something special for me. That something special was a like new Bk16 with extra scales. I'm a numbered Beckerhead and that's all that mattered to him. I'm family. I've returned in kind but I didn't have to I wanted to because they are family. Thank you Beckerheads. If I've forgotten a few of ya I do apologize. It's so much more then a number.
