Last Saturday the mail lady knocked on the door with a package from
Jack Black
I had to sign for. Well as soon as she left like a kid at Christmas I ripped open the package.
Inside I found it was full of some great stuff.
Not one but two great A. Wright and Sons knives!! An absolutely beautiful stag lambsfoot and my first ever Sheffield made Barlow but it didn't stop there. Also in the box was a really cool Yorkshire tee-shirt, four old UK coins, an instruction manual for American servicemen in Britain during WW2, a very old and unused address book, an antique mountable bottle opener, a Victorian era absinthe sugar spoon, a Yorkshire pen and key chain, an antique whistle, a pencil made out of a stick ( I can't understand how they got the lead in there), a Samuel Smith Brewery (Yorkshire's oldest brewery) brochure and coaster and a cool card with a very nice note from Jack written inside.
Thank you Jack for such a thoughtful and generous gift and such a honor it is to have a friend like you.
