I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but I think that a little google searching would go a long way here. If you google the keywords written on the blades, you will probably find out exactly what they are.

Edit: yep, you can find all of them. I just checked. Please try that and let us know if you can't figure any of them out.

Not sure what you're asking; the W models you have are popular Marble's.

I did do that, on a few of them. And I am getting different years and info, on the same ones that I have, that’s why I just thought I would try asking people on here if they know anything more. I know nothing about knifes, they were left to me with out any information. I appreciate any information I can get thank you.

Knife 2 - Western 39 Skinner, Resin stabilized wood handle, carbon steel blade. The J is part of the date code 1977 = A, so count up from there till J for the year.

Knife 3 - Western Heavy Hunter, same as above, H is the letter for the date code.

Knife 4 - Standard Ka-Bar Fighting Utility knife. Late 70's - .

Knife 5 - Compass Industries 70's, 80's boot knife. These were decent, but cheap knives.

Knife 6 - Homemade knife.

Knife 7 - Olsen Hunting knife. Probably 60's - 70's.

Is it? I thought the high saber grind going all the way up to the fuller was just within the last year.

I've seen others where the grind came up that high, that were older than a couple of years old. That being said, I'm sure a more specialized collector of them could tighten up the date. With Ka-Bar brand MK2's, I tend to leave the dates wide.

Hey guys I have 3 more knives, I have been looking up on Google like some people suggested and I’ve been pretty successful. The sab jk-414, I am only finding pics no info. The western, i’m getting all types of information. And the frost cutterly “this is large” there’s only a guy on eBay but no info. Thank u so much for your help.

The last frost cutlery is made in Pakistan and not very good, the Western w49 uses the date code as before, and that Centurion I believe Is 1980's made in Japan.

The Frost "German Stainless" might be 4116 Krupp.
If it has a good heat treat, it not bad. I think 4116 is in the same class as 440A and 420HC.
Cold Steel uses 4116 Krupp for some of their inexpensive knives, like the Kudu, Eland, and Finn Bear.

I don't know if your Frost is one of their Pakistan or China made knives though. They have knives built in both countries. Their better knives are made in China.

Congrats Ted, some good stuff in there!

I'm admittedly not a fan of leather stacked handles but that first Kabar is a good looking knife!
