It's just about time here - there's a certain place nearby where, if I hit it right, I can fill the cooler with trout and a bag full of morels...

Tonight, morels fried in bacon grease.

I'm told that Morels are close to perfection. Unfortunately I cannot say that I have ever even SEEN a morel. Which disapoints me greatly. I pick Chanterelles, shaggy manes and a couple of Bollettes.
