It's picture mania...

I have to dispell this idea that I NEVER make knives :D I may not make a lot, but I do make SOME :p

This was commisioned by Randy Morgan, and is actually 2 years old, but I just had Point7 shoot it for me.

Forged 1084 with hamon, twist damascus fittings (fluted guard and ferrule), stabilized Redwood burl (the darkest and most active I've seen). And of course the "love/hate" Spanish notch. People love it or hate it.. none-the-less, it's not going anywhere ;)

Thanks for looking :)

Great looking fighter Nick and I like the notch. Pretty cool wood too.

Oh yeah, this one rocks. Did you get a pic done of the big bowie / camp knife you did for Randy? THAT one may be my favorite Wheeler ever. :D

Yet another Wheeler Bowie?

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

This forum is just littered with them lately! ;)

Man, all these Wheeler knives are really starting to bore me ;). Post some more!

~I like the notch :).

very nice, the wood is awesome and the hamon line is subtle yet very noticeable, I like it.

Thanks guys :)

Actually, the hamon on this one is one of the best I've ever done, it looks subtle here though, because Eric shot it in his regular lighting set-up... I've learned from Don Fogg and SharpByCoop, that you need a black reflective surface above the blade to make the hamon pop.

I've got the knife because I'm messing with some polishing powders on the finish, so I can TRY to take a shot that shows the hamon more the way it looks in person.

Thanks! :D
