I got today off work so i decided to get up and take the dog on a quick hike. I ended up bringing a small pack with my beckers and got to try them out doing some carving on a stick. It was the first chance to use them in the woods and they are working great i'm really happy with the knives i think i made the right choice coming here and finding these knives. anyway here is the only picture i got of the knives. Thanks for reading and looking guys and thanks for the advice on the blades.

Nice! I still haven't gotten my new 2 into the woods, and lately I've been thinking I'm going to end up getting a 16 before that even happens haha - Great picture.
 
Looks like you share my mentality. The hike isn't aproved if i don't use my becker for something. And if i don't need to use it for anything, i just cut som stuff for the hell of it:P
 
Yes especially when i haven't had a chance to use them yet i was really wanting to cut something. I'll probably try to go fishing this afternoon and i'm planning on bringing the knives along for that too might carve something, fish haven't really been biting around here but its always good just to get out.

Looks like you had a nice hike! Thanks for the pic. Hoping to get my beckers out to the bush soon. All they have seen is cooking duties so far. And I think I need to order another now.....
