Morseth Hairline Splits in Wood Handle

I hope this is the appropriate place for this question. I have a Morseth knife that has hairline splits in the handle. Should I leave them alone, or not. I've read a few online articles about using super glue flush to the top, then smooth out. Please help, as I do not want to do anything to degrade the value.
