One of our customers had two Morseth blades that he wanted handled in the Morseth style. Below are a couple photos of the results. It was quite an experience. We like the one with the larger spacers best.

I have never attempted a "stacked" handle before but the customer wanted the blades finished in the traditional Morseth style.

The first one got the three layer red and white spacers while the second one had an extra thick stack of liner material preglued so it could be cut and put in place as one thick piece. Each element was fitted then disassembled and then glued to each other for better alignment.

I must say that I like the look and old time style of the handle but am not sold on the stick tang construction method....I still prefer a full tang for strength.

they turned out nicely George. kudos to you for attempting such a new & hard build.

Thanks Burnsy, I hope this chap doesn't come back with more Morseth blades that he wants handled. :) These two were quite enough. Carol's been after me to do a leather ringed handled knife like her father used. After these two I think I'll pass. A friend of mine did one a few years ago and he was nearly mental by the time he was finished I got a taste of what he must have gone thru with the Morseth blades.
