Morseth steel

Now that laminated steel is being re-discovered -I have some questions about the steel that Harry Morseth used in his blades. My understanding is that the inner "hard" layer in this sandwhich was relativly thin. Anyone know how thick__________" or mm.? About what hardness was this steel tempered to ________ ? Come to think of it - how the heck do you temper a blade made up of two distinctly different steels in layers?

Morseth perchased alot of his blades pre-made from Scandinavia.Blade did an artical on him years ago.As far as temper,I would temper to the core steel.

I seem to remember that ag russel bought the rights to morseth knives and produced them for a period of time, contact him and i bet he can give you more info than you can shake a stick at.
