My friend John Davis has an archival Mosaic steel collection. John takes this large display to the shows he does in an effort to archive Mosaic efforts. John's collection inludes 184 unique Mosaic tiles and 34 unique Mosaic loaf slabs. This collection represents over 40 different steel makers.
Most of us steel makers are bad at archiving our efforts. John's effort in steel is proof positive of the development of patterns. This educational display is a great way in which our art is demonstrated.
Would you like to be part of this display? Heatreated etched tiles are needed to demonstrate patterns developed and those who are doing this art. Please consider sending representation of your art to John Davis, 235 Lampe Road, Selah, WA, 98942. It would be nice at some point to get this collection photographed and posted on the web. It is the most extensive Mosaic Steel display that I'm aware. Be part of this history, contribute to this collection.
Thanks for the consideration...Take Care...Ed Schempp
