Hello guys!!! Last year I did a full tang persian knife for the Milan Show in Italy. I think the curves of Persian design has great visual appeal. Since I did that in brazilian constructive technique I want to make a North American style, a bowie fighter knife. The blade measures 8 inches long. The mosaic damascus has 1056 layers per slice (Filicietti method). The handle is stabilized black line spalted maple.
Thank you for looking! I hope you enjoyed! I would be very grateful and honored with their impressions!!!

The full tang integral bolster. A very strong brazilian style. The safe persian handle ball.

Awesome work. I know from experience that those curves are difficult to get just right. The ebony handles piece is really special.

Just fantastic

Both are excellent but I favor the one in the second set of photos

Your blending of styles is really exciting, and that damascus is spectacular!

I'll second Bailey: that ebony handle has absolutely beautiful shape.

They are both tremedous pieces that show a lot of skill in their execution. I tend to gravitate toward the ebony integral piece, as I find the curves of the handle, unbroken by a guard, flow more seemlessly with the curves of the blade.

The spalted maple of fighter / bowie is quite stunning, though, and overall it makes for a bold and impressive piece.

They are both very nice and the Damascus on the ebony knife is working really well with that design .

Stunning work Eduardo. The damascus is DAZZLING on the spalted maple knife, but I too just like those lines a bit more on the ebony one!

Pleasure seeing them,
Peter

Both are beautifully done. The Ebony integral is a real head turner. The lines on the blade as well as the handle are exquisite. Great job!

Eduardo those are both fine examples of your skill. The damascus you are creating is exciting and I look forward to see much more of your work.
