Mosaic Damascus Video

Hello everyone...

Its been a long time. I have been working on a project for "Wilson Combat" that has taken all my time recently. Just wanted to stop by and say "Hi" and post this link to a little video I made showing how to do the "Ferry Flip" which is a technique for getting the end grain pattern of mosaic Damascus to be on the top and bottom so as to be seen in making a kinfe or bolster material or anything. The technique was pioneered by Tom Ferry , thus the Ferry Flip, and its a great little trick. Let me know how I can improve the video.. here is the youtube video:

Thanks everyone. On this piece I used anhydrous borax. Now I'm using regular old grocery store borax because I ran out of the anhydrous. Either work fine. Anhydrous is not as messy and flows better but ...
