Finished this one up yesterday, its been something I've wanted to do for quite a while now, so I gave it a whirl. The picture is deceiving, the blade isn't that big, but this was the best picture I had that showed the shape and pattern together.

OAL- 12 1/8" w/ 7" blade. the bold mosaic steel was formed from combining 1080,15n20 and 1095 into a 79 layer billet, manipulating the billet into 4 different pieces and then rewelding. I then opened up the blade area of the billet to show the mosaic pattern and then shaped the remaining into the handle leaving the mosaic pattern inside as the butt end picture will show. The handle scales are african blackwood with the 5 nickel/silver pins.

Thanks for looking , what do you think?

Every time I see one of your knives I like it better than the last one. This is really a wonderful knife. Integrals tend to be heavier for their size, what is this one like?

Keith, Thank you. This integral weighs 12.4 oz. , For comparison, the mosaic bowie I posted with the Eagle on the blade was almost the exact same blade length and it weighed 13.3 oz. I did taper the tang area between the scales just a little, to help reduce some weight. But it feels really good in the hand and the balance point is at the front roll, right behind the guard area.

Thanks again,

Bill
