One of my spacer-less tapers...
This bit of resin scale was the first I made, not perfect at all, but took long to make, taught me a lot and was pretty (to me at least!) so I made a pocketknife. When I say pocketknife I mean pocket knife.... these are the specs, look at the weight:
OAL 157mm 6.18 inch
Folded 91mm 3.58 inch
Weight 37g 1.3 ounce
Blade 2,3mm 0.09 inch RWL34 @ HRC 63-64, tested at 2 points along the blade
Titanium 6-4 liners with double detent (also UK future law safe - not quite fully OHO)
BESS sharpness 135 and 156

Thank you kindly jdm61 . Yes, you are right. For me the adjustment is ongoing: I still struggle with why have I not seen that the spacer is not necessary on a small folder and why do we have to be content with a tapered blade in a square recess. Honestly not joking here... Appreciate your time and comment. Ignatius
