Just picked up two tilts from my local knife store. I posted in the Kershaw sub forum, but I figured knife lovers of all types could enjoy this knife. Don't mind my excitement in the video. I get kind of giddy. :D

That's a fairly weird looking knife, kind of "futuristic". I'm really not sure I dig the blade shape, and I worry that the tip will get knocked off easily. I'd like to know more about that steel - any links to it?

Other than that, I'd love to play with it for a few minutes... at least!
 
I think I would like the overall profile of the knife better if it didn't have the choil, but as a fan of wharncliffe blades, I believe I could live with the choil to obtain the rest of the knife. Please do give us some idea of the capabilities of the steel. Thanks for the review!

They won't be available online unless you pre ordered. This is a limited run knife. Early numbers have been said to be just over 300. I don't think we have actually received an actual number from Thomas. But its a very limited run.

That's how I feel a lot of times about hinderers and other knives, but every dog has his day. I was very lucky to not only find these, but have the funds at just the right time so I could buy them. It all fell into place!
 
You were going to say "present surprise" haha.

Nice video. Not sure I like the shape of the handle or blade but to each his own.

If there isn't any blade play and it is that smooth then I am digging it.

That is a funky-looking blade. I think you came up with a great test for smoothness; may have to try that with some of my blades. Thanks for posting.
