Most attractive looking folder

I am curious what others think would be the most attractive looking knife, a folder, I mean. Aesthetics play a large role in my decisions and I know we all have different thoughts about this, but gimme some answers.

My favorite (looks only) is the BM Bedlam. I don't know if it counts though, as it is an auto. Not very fun to use either IMO.

Sebenza.

This is really an impossible question. I think aesthetics are important, but there's no best.

That said, the first thing that came to mind was this folder/fixed set by Charles Bennica:

I have to guess that it is because I saw this photo for the first time today that it is still at the forefront in my mind. Tomorrow it might be something completely different.

Something with clean lines, plain, straightfoward, as close to a 1:1 blade to handle ratio with a drop point blade looks the most aesthetically pleasing to me. So pretty much something like a Sebenza with NO inlays. In general a full titanium framelock without too much other crap going on is usually attractive to me. Which is why Spyderco initially didnt float my boat with its chunky leaf blade shapes and unproportional handle:blade ratio but I learned the beauty in its form and function. Now I cant get enough of it :D.

I'm a fan of Yuna's work. I think the ergonomic flow of the Hard-1 is just awesome.

When it comes down to it though, I'm a sucker for Carbon fiber and Ti Bolsters. I love the look of my Gen.1 RJ Martin Q-36. The bottom one in this picture. As much as I love my JD Q-36, the Gen. 1 has the CF and Ti that I love.

I really love the "City Knife" type designs. Just something about how smooth and uninterrupted all the lines are. Like this Mike Lovett City Knife, picture was posted by BF user jivedaddy.

also many of the "Shadow" type slipjoints. Just something about the canvas micarta and smooth lines that get to me.

Hi rkhndjr -

For me, I still think the Buck 112 Ranger is the best looking folder.

I just love the beefy bolsters, the wood scales, and the classic Buck clip-point blade.

It could be that I love these since they were the first quality knife I owned back in the 70's.

best regards -

Which BM is this? Thanks

That is the 950 Rift with carbon fiber scales. It was a limited run (200 pieces I think?) and I believe still available at a retailer. The 950 is, IMO, the best AXIS lock knife Benchmade has made so far.
