Cast your vote! Spyderco's had some doozies and the Gamut from Panchenko was odd, but I gotta give a shout-out to the new Olamic Busker Vampo from Olamic. I'm sure there's a utility for the shape - probably great for opening boxes. Different knives for different lives.

That Vampo looks similar to the Dodo. Another odd design.

I think Spyderco has the strangest designs, which has led to some great innovations and some not so great ones. Off the top of my head, the Shabaria and Khukuri. The khukuri in particular, if you presume it's mimicking an actual kukri, the curve of the blade is where they put the finger choil, which more or less eliminates the curve and you're left with a sort of normal knife that's attached to the handle at an odd angle.

They've done a few like that.

Also worth mentioning: The only knife I've ever seen that clearly had scoliosis.

A lot of bizarre ones out there for sure.
What about that poor excuse for a so called sheep's foot many companies use today ?
A sheep's foot blade should have no belly to it yet they still insist on calling them sheep's foot blades when they're most certainly not.

No offense if anyone likes them, I just don't and don't think they should be calling them something their not.

The Grimsmo Norseman has a goofy ass blade shape. If they'd take that oval and turned it into an average tip(drop/clip point), I bet it'd be one helluva looker. As it stands I think it's just a little too out there.

Elishewitz designed Hogue. The tip comes in extremely handy and does a great job.

Guess I better mention the Razels, but that is all child's play. There are fantasy knives with way crazier blade shapes.

But even that is child's play. The real deal? Walter Berrios from Peru.

The one name that I don't understand is the Benchmade 810/940 being a "reverse tanto".
It isnt.

What is it? A traditional Spey blade.

Here are some of the weird ones I have lying around. If I had to choose 1, my vote goes the Sharknivco Diablo at the bottom.

That warren thomas is kind of cool. Probably a pain in the butt to sharpen alot of these.

The sharknivco kind of reminds me of this blade shape. (Different grind totally)

I really like the cf/bolster look on that, but beyond that... well..

Spyderco can you do that cf/bolster on a less hideous knife please? :)
