I want a Buck scimitar, not a top of the line collectible but just a nice knife to have around. Not going to use it but don't want to pay for a special edition if I can help it.

What is the least expensive version of these?

Thanks!

I don't know anything about the Buck scimitars...except that Marv has a beautiful one...Pics here somewhere... :)

Anybody heard or seen any posts from Marv lately??? I hope he's not in a coma...again... :o

Ohen-
The Buck Ribbon-Cutting edition is often up for bids and since a 'collectible' is not what you seek, then look for one of two other editions. Both were limited to runs of one hundred however, they may be more to your criteria. Offered simultaneously, black micarta and burlwood were the choices. I have # 64/100 of each. Nice knives to be sure but ironically, they never seem to appear for sale anymore.
Best fortunes in locating one!
