I have nothing better to do, so let's see you can come up with the most depressing song....

I Nominate Harry Chapin "Cat's in the Cradle"

Operator, by Jim Croce.

Croce and Chapin are both great for depressing songs.

David Allen Coe - You Never Even Called Me By My Name "Well I was drunk the day my momma got out of prison" etc.

Crying,
I never feel good after this song but it's one of my favorites.

Folsom Prison Blues
Being locked up is very depressing.

"Georgia Lee" by Tom Waits. Based on a true account of the murder of a young girl. If this song don't rip your heart out,you probably don't have one.
