Does anyone top Benchmade for product diversity? Seems like the only thing they don't make is multitools....and chain saws..heheh vruuuuuuuuunnnnvruuuuuun!!!! :D

Actually....my humble opinion would cast its vote for Spyderco...

Buck comes to mind. Slip joints, lockbacks, linerlocks, fixed blades, multitools.

Most of that variety is avaliable in small, large, tactical, dressy, hunting, utility and anything else you can think of.

You suggest Benchmade. Nice knives but hardly as diverse as Buck, or Camillus for that matter.

I'd have to go with Richard, Buck makes about every style of knife thier is, except maybe a Bali-Song,,

It must be.......Ferrari!!!! Oh, sorry, wrong forum.:o

As far as blades are concerned....I believe Victorinox (also make luggage) Tramontina, Camillus and Aitor are far more diverse than Benchmade. Ultimately it must surely be Victorinox. They make knives, cutlery, watches, pens, and also luggage. Now you can't get much more diverse than that.

Buck and Cold Steel are both good choices, but...

Spyderco is probably the most diverse brand with everything from kitchen knives, to tactical folders including trainers, to exotics from the Gunting to the Snap-it EMT, to mulititools, to the Spydercard, to fixed-blades, to sharpeners. I think Spyderco gets the prize.

Cold Steel
- military fixed blades
- hunting fixed blades
- tac folders
- utility folders
- sak's
- machetes
- spears
- canes
- sjambok
- hatchets

How can you get much more diverse than Camillus? They run the gamut from traditional to tactical, folders and fixed.

Filet Knives
Throwers
Swing blades
Throwing hawks
Clasic pattern pocket knives
sword canes
push daggers
Kitchen knives
Kukris

I think that it would be a close race between Spyderco and Cold Steel...They both seem to be two companies who listen to what their customers want, and then produce it.
