I have been reading allot of these posts and was wondering what the most anyone out there has paid for a knife?? I am not in the same league as most here. The most I ever paid was $280. That was for a Master of Defense LadyHawk(Auto) For my wife.

At this point my most expensive knife is a $1200.00 Pronghorn by Ed Fowler. Some people may think that that is way too much to pay for a knife. I think I got a bargain.

creatorss,

Welcome to BFC.

Maybe you should have asked for a picture of the knive you spent the most for; instead of the price. :)

I spend the most for this knife and think I got a bargain.

$262...it's moderate compared to others but it's my highest number thus far...

I think my wife paid $60 for my Leatherman Wave, and I paid $50 for a Kershaw Whirlwind. There are a lot of good, usable knives for $60 and under.

If I didn't have four kids, I would get a few more expensive knives, but right now I have to feed everybody, and pay the bills. Plus, I am remodeling, need to re-roof, and have fishing and hunting habits that eat up money, too! Yikes, I need a raise!!!

Since I'm new @ knives....

$120 for my new SOG Tomcat II....quite the upgrade over my $35 Wenger:p

Warthog

PS - someone tell me if it's too big

I paid $725 for my Darrel Ralph Mini-Maxx.

4" spearpoint recurve blade of Talonite with an anodized titanium frame. This is my idea of the perfect all-around folder. I prefer a larger blade for defensive use, which is why I also carry a Camillus CUDA Maxx wherever possible, but my Mini-Maxx is my best compromise choice.

4 grand for a wakizashi by the famous Shinto Hizen smith Tadakuni. Made in 1615 and in beautiful shape. I definitely got a bargain, the seller didnt research the maker.

Sorry cant spell today....
