Most expensive 532 I've seen

I looked at it..Prototypes are in a category by themselves plus the Sawby. That was in fact the only prototype 532 I've seen. But that was a lot of money!

Wonder if the buyer is anyone from the forum :)
It certainly wasn't my bank account! LOL!

Take a look at the bidding - the jump from $350 to $700 MIGHT be understandable to someone with the money to toss around who REALLY didn’t want to miss this one, but that jump from $700 to $2k is hard for me to comprehend. Even if you have the cash, why not increase in smaller increments?

Culprit99 Culprit99 I'm not sure how maximum bids really are shown. I have put in a maximum bid on items before and if there is someone who has a higher max in it jumps right up to their max at whatever the bid interval is. Like if, my max bid is $100.00, the bid interval is $3.50 and someone has put in a max bid of $120.00 then the bid will show at $103.50. I get a message that someone has out bid me and do I want to submit another bid. HTH

The rarest most expensive Bucks are usually held in long term collections started well over 25 years ago. Many of the best are almost always sold/traded privately. A few old timer's get out or change focus but many only come on the market after a funeral..
So for newer less 'connected' collectors really REALLY rare knives tend to be harder fought for.
