Hi. I wonder if you guys from Camillus could tell me... what is the most popular (most sales) pattern that Camillus makes? Cheryl... can you say which Camillus pattern is the best seller at CR Specialties?

Tom.. thanks again for the info you mailed to me.

I would say it has to be the Lev-R-Loks followed by the Western Fillet knives. But the CUDA line is moving up fast. With the new products coming from the cuda division it is no wonder.

Interesting.... I prefer the traditional patterns myself, so I guess I'm not too connected to modern day knife preferences. Thanks.

The #1 pattern in folding knives for Camillus would be the 4 blade utility knife.
Production of the model #S1760 all stainless
steel knife has exceeded 10,000,000, add in
the WWII and civilian knives and the total would be about 12-13,000,000 or more. The #2
pattern is most likely the electrician's knife. Camillus has also produced a large
quantity of the stockman pattern through the
years. The smallest quantities would probably
be the Timber Scribe or the MC-1 Paratrooper's Knife.

Thanks Tom. Very interesting. 12 million? Yeah, that qualifies as a fairly popular seller.

Although I am an electrician, I've never even owned one of those. I guess I like to separate work from hobby. I do keep thinking I should buy at least one, though, just to have. Thanks again.

I am getting good use out of my $5 Camillus Electricians knife......its a real brute!
Good heavy thick blades that sharpen rather easily.......I also like the half stop on the blades......
I used it last night to cut some firestarter for the BBQ and it hacked thru that gooey thick stuff no problem at all!
