Most popular topic on this forum?

Well, I am primarily interested in older Am. axes and maybe I need to read and research what is really popular and maybe gain knowledge that I really do need to have.

I also resent our industrial capacity(U.S.) not being what it used to be concerning quality and not even manufacturing here in the U.S. I am now 63 years old and read in the WALL Street Journal that industry is coming back to The U.S. Questions that I ask reaffirm my opinions that Americans desire quality and must buy quality from places
such as Sweden, Germany, etc., for a very high price. Swedish axes are a good example. My small Swedish axe cost me a lot of money and I really do love it. At age 63,
I appreciate the good things from the past but must also not isolate myself from what is going on outside of my specific interest. One might learn of some very nice things going on.

On this subforum, top 3(maybe 4):

1) Identity of head or info on maker.
2) Handle configuration, length and grain
3) head geometry and quality.

and my favorite-- What I consider heirloom axes.

Imalterna is right on. These top three are almost always brought up in every post. More so probably than how the axe actually performs in its intended use.
