Been awhile since I posted here. Thought I'd show a sub hilt made for the Vegas show this past Labor Day weekend.

The blade is CPM154, just under 9" long. The fuller was ground with a 5/8" wheel, not milled. The guard and finial are damascus. The handle is koa. My wife, Nita, made the sheath from cowhide with a python inlay.

Comments are always welcome.

Hello David!

Been following you on Instagram and was really impressed when you showed it on there as well! Great one!

Best,
Alex

Welcome back David!!!! It's been too long between your posts and photos. Please make this a habit.

Nita's sheaths are top notch too!

Thanks guys!

Bill, making your sub hilt a few years ago turned koa into my favorite wood!

And thanks again, Paul, for your compliments on Nita's work! That sure meant a lot to her.

I have some good stuff, but you have some of the best I've seen.

Guess I should have put this pic up in the beginning.
