I have had this one for a while, but it has been cosmetically challenged. It's a primble bladed old timer. One blade was snapped completely off so I ground it down flush, can't even tell. the spey blade was boke too, but I reprofiled it to a small clip style blade. she was all rusty too so a couple hours, some sandpaper, oil, and my dremel and a buffing whell brought her right back. I cleaned out the cuts in the derlin too, so there isn't mud and grit caked in there no more. I personally think it turned out alright. I was wobbly so the pics are a bit blurry, i'll try to get better ones later.

Always a pleasure to see you post here, young guy. You did good on that one. How did the crest sheild work out that LT sent you? And do you have any pics of the knives you are making?

thanks Phil,
no pics of the knives i'm making yet, none are quite finished, still need some supplies. The shield is still iffy, it's quite a bit bigger than the hole so i'll need to take it down quite a bit, but taking it down evenly will be a challenge.

Hey Phil, and any others that may be interested.
This is one that i'm working on. It's a mushroom knife, I designed for cutting mushrooms (morels, shaggy manes, puff balls whatever). I hope to have it done by next month (It should be done well before then.) As that is the start of mushroom season for morels here, and i'll give her a field test. It should work good for peeling the bark off walking stick blanks too. I'm not sure what type of sheath it will have yet, most likely a neck carry, but I seen a pocket carry in the gallery that I like, we'll see.
