My tenth. I went there looking for two specific non-Busse items and had both in hand within the first two hours Friday - an Arno Bernard Rhino skinner with Nile Crocodile handle (I have one knife weakness other than Busses, that being skinners) and a LionSteel M2.

I went with a specific budget in mind, and almost met it. Came away with only three Busses, but they were exactly the ones I really wanted - a Tigerhide/Satin Team Gemini, a Black Canvas handled INFI Ratmandu (specifically wanted black canvas because it is going to be a user) and an Orange/Black Elmax Game Warden. Only way it could have been better would have been if the Elmax Warden had been available in Black Canvas, as it is going to be a user, too.

I caught none of these cards. Caught a lot of others but gave them away. Many thanks to Trevor and Dan for graciously trading with me to allow me to come away with what I really wanted. I have had no dealings with Dan in the past but after the induction dinner he told me to tell the Busse people to move from his box to mine anything he had I wanted. I traded a black and tan G10 INFI Ratmandu for the Black Canvas one.

The trough was the roughest this year that I have ever seen it, and I got a block in the back (unintentional) of my lower legs from Trevor that would have done an NFL lineman proud. Almost took me down. He got a bloody knee on the same play.

Thanks to all the Busse people and the Hogs for your continuing kindness to Kimberly. She had a ball.

Awesome Recap Mike,, sure missed you all this year,,, just could not get everything lined up,, still selling some goodies for a new truck project,,

Took Chelle out friday night to the local Fuddruckers in honor of the Amazing Busse Clan,, wasnt the same,, but still got our fill.

You hit it right,, there are NO BETTER PEOPLE in this industry, than the Busse Family! missed you this year big buddy,,

Thanks for sharing :D

Reminds me of three years ago when I accidentally head-butted Jaxx while we were both going for a card. Almost knocked him out since I'm hard-headed. Trough warfare!!!

Glad you ended up getting everything you wanted Mike. I remember you talking about the Arno Bernard Rhino skinner with Nile Crocodile handle while we sat in line Friday. Any chance for a few pics of that one?

"Black Canvas handled INFI Ratmandu"

...... Something about that sounds soooooo right:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:.... Good one, Mike!

Mike, it is always great to see you and Kim. I'm glad to hear that both of you had such a wonderful time. Make sure that Kim knows that we enjoyed how "groovy" she was feeling all weekend. :)

Mike it was great seeing you and the lovely Kim again. I am glad that you were able to get the knives you really wanted.
