What Bark river would be closest in length and thickness to the bk16?

I didnt know if this should be in BarkR forum or Becker one so i chose here because you guys are more helpful.

Bark river and beckers don't really go together... Lots of history that probably should not be brought up... Lets me just say this in closing and as my final words I'm a huge Ethan Becker fan, and for that reason I don't support bark river.

buy a Helle Survivorman Temagami

I'd start with the BRKT Fox River but, they really are different animals. Thickness and length are only the begining. Bark River offers nothing close to the 16 in price, grind, handle shape/fit, and assembly.

Best of luck.

I am also a huge EB fan, have been for years. Can you elaborate on this history...?

I dont understand the tang on that knife? Is it like an off center rat tail or just appear that way? The description said it was not full.

They offer most options in a flat ground convex edge which is exactly what my bk16 is. I understand that is where ther similarities end, but I am not looking for a replacement to my bk16 just which BR knife would be similar dimensions. I have not had muchluck looking on their site.

Most BRKT are not flat ground. They are a full height convex grind in most cases.

For a good spot to look at all of the Bark River offerings, try KnivesShipFree.

Ill check it out. I guess I am not sure what a full height convex is.

He was the CEO of a certain knife company in Effingham Illinois who had business dealings with Mr. Becker. You can draw you're own conclusions from there.

Montana Guide looks pretty close.
Also, rampless Bravo1.
Though both are rather thicker, and a lot more money.

Please....
Any discussion of little mikey or his products disturbs the magnetic fields of my happiness sooooo, please take this discussion to another universe.....Far, far away........
