and go...

might as well give this a go :D

Ha! It's my 7" Kabar next gen. My Beckers gat far more use as I can't find a comfortable way to carry a foot of steel.

Ha! I like this idea.

For me, BK7. I have had two. I have given away two. While there are those that heralded it as this great one-knife solution (silly, we all know that doesn't exist) and some even go so far as to name them (even more ridiculousness) the BK7 suffers from it's jack-of-all-trades status. It does many things well, but nothing great in comparison with the rest of the lineup.

My BK 15/16/17 serve as a better field knife.
My BK 4/9/20/21/29 is a better chopper.
My BK 11/14/24 is a better detail/edc knife.
My BK 2/5/10 is a good midsize knife. (Yeah the 5 is bigger but it feels more like a midsize knife in hand to me even though I do know it competes well outside of the midsize knife range.)

The 7 doesn't compete as well in my opinion. Yeah, it is a great knife, and if it was a choice between that or nothing on a deserted island I would be happy as could be to have a 7, but if they gave me a choice from the lineup, I would almost always pick something else every time.

Hmmmm...
My most unused knife would have to be my Randall 12-8. I received it, and my Randall 2-7, seventeen years ago. I unpacked them, examined them, wrapped them back up in the original paper, put them back in the box, and all but forgot about them. Came across the box while preparing to move 7 yrs ago & unwrapped them to see what they were. they've been wrapped/boxed ever since. (I keep thinking I should sell them; but never seem to get around to doing so.)
I specified the 12-8, even though they were received at the same time, because the 2-7 was fondled more. (I'm not really sure why I ordered the Model 12, because I've never been particularly fond of the bowie style.)

As far as most unused Becker knife...there are a few that I've never used for various reasons; but I'll say that my most unused is the Camillus BK10. Being a Camillus, it is older than any of the Kabar Beckers that I don't use; even if I haven't had it all that long... but, the real reason it wins this title is that I simply don't care for the BK10. Don't like it, don't touch it (unless its in my way), no chance of that changing until I decide to send it to another home.

BK3 and BK7.
I’ve always liked the idea of keeping a BK3 as a beater, but just never get around to actually using it.
As far as the BK7 goes...Derek pretty much covered the same way I feel about it.

Ha -- didn't take me long to come up with my most unused.
That would be my OKC3S bayonet as it stays attached to my HD shotty in my bedroom closet. It's been so long since I've looked at it or the gun that I've actually forgotten if I have the gun with safety on or off. I had better rectify that PDQ.

least used?
all of my backup Beckers -- because I haven't broken or lost any yet. ;)
I sold my BK 1, 3, 4, & 7 - and gave away the 2 -- because they weren't being used.
I sold all my Busse & Bussekin - because they weren't being used.
Once I got my BK16, I sold my ESEE 3 & 4 - because they weren't being used.
Once I got my BK24, I stopped using the Izula II (although I still prefer that handle)

That is so strange about the BK7. It was my first Becker, and on the surface I was most excited about getting one...and I figured it would be my most used blade in the outdoors, but quickly found a BK9 in my possession. Several times I have strapped the 7 on my side, but end up quickly digging out my 9 or 16 (now my BK15) and putting the BK7 away again. Never would have thought...

Back on track...

My least used Becker - my BK11.

Most unused knife overall? I have boxes full of them...thus is the journey of many a knife nut. We keep buying knives we think will meet the exact need we have...until the next "better" knife comes along.

Hmmm well my most used is my bk7 so guess I'm unusual haha my least used is my 14 so I guess I'm even stranger lol

Oh, I have so many unused knives... so many.

There are the mediocre Pre-Enlightenment folders that live in a box and will never go into rotation.
There are the decent slip-joints that mostly I fondle occasionally.
Out of the decent folders, the carry knife rotation has evolved to Spyderco PM3, Native-5, and Benchmade mini-grip. That leaves 3 decent Kershaws idle - no, make that 4. And in my own daizee fixed blade lineup, maybe three or 4 get regular belt time (plus two birudashi), leaving another half-dozen longing for action... Plus all the other one-offs, experiments, etc.

Of Beckers, my second BK5 doesn't get much use - the first cut some things. Mostly I love them and don't use them, lacking a good application. The BK2 is sort of one a pillar, but doesn't get used. BK-7 - I agree with the above, but once the thumb ramp is off and it's choiled like the 5, it's a rather different beast. Doesn't get any USE though, just fondling. All my spare time is spent MAKING knives, not using them. Kind of embarassing. Oh, except kitchen knives. I use those every day.

As a knife hoarder I have quite a few new or barely used knives. I am not good at selling them so I admit to having knives sitting new in their boxes.

To stay in the context of Becker I would have to say my BK13. It's too small. I took it out of the package, sharpened it and put it in that sleeve in my BK4 sheath and I haven't pulled it out since. I guess it is just for emergencies.

Derek, you think like I think. That being said, I actually use the 7, which I hardly use at all, more than the 3 - though i do keep itching to use the snot out of that BK3 on something.

The BK3 is kind of a mission specific tool; just ask a certain dictator who is no longer among the living.

Yup, same here.

Among the non-Becker knives that are unused, there are plenty, including those which I though were going to be the end all - be all of fixed blade usefulness and bliss before I became a Beckerhead ... you know, back when I was lost, confused, unknowing and the like.

Least used Becker, that's easy, the 15. Never really found its place in my stable. In the kitchen, the 15 is great for slicing meat. Does nothing for cutting veggies, blade geometry is a bit obtuse. The 16 outperforms the 15 for my needs. I don't get the choil either, just find it taking up good real estate. And don't get me started on that whole upswept blade thing...

The 7 is my go to yard duty/woods knife. I guess I understand the whole jack of all trades dislike of the 7 but it suits my needs. To each his own.

My least used Beckers would be my backups that only get touched when I pull them out of the boxes for blade maintenance.

My least used non-Beckers would every non-EDC blade I own - they only get blade and sheath/scabbard maintenance - and then there is not much use for my bayonets, sabers, swords, dive knives (since being medically down-checked for SCUBA diving), US military knives, etc.
