  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Most used and abused Leatherman you still use today ...

While I don't have a picture, because the Leatherman is at work on my "Bat Belt", I have had one for almost 17 years on my duty belt. My Dad bought it for me when I graduate from the academy in 1997. It has been in the same spot on my belt for just shy of 17 years. Longer than ANY other piece of equipment. I have changed guns (too many to count :) ), changed flashlights, lost multiple pairs of cuffs, but that Leatherman has seen it all!! I mostly have used it as a screwdriver. It is an AWESOME tool. It is one of the very early ones with just the basics. I have thought about upgrading it to one of the newer "Super Tool" Leathermans, but nostalgia won't allow it. :)

I have an original design, at least 14 yo, with one plier tip slightly melted due to an electric arc.

This is a stock pic but mine would be a Leatherman Fuse. They're discontinued now. Frys had them mislabeled once at $14.99 so I grabbed one. Wish I had grabbed a dozen. It's an awesome tool.
