My most used besides my watch (High Gear, unknown , bought used, it won't quit and I clang into way too much stuff for a nice watch) and pen(whatever bic happens to be close since one of my students swiped my Cross) would be the SwissTech Utilikey. I like to travel light, so I have one simple rule that I follow when it comes to my EDC gear: If I'm not going to use an item at least once a day, it stays at home... I don't need to be lugging it around. So I don't carry a flashlight or handgun.

My most used gear:

1: Pen. I EDC a Pilot G-2 Limited and alternate between black and blue refills for it. I write a lot, so a refill lasts me between two weeks and a month.
2: Victorinox Soldier. This knife cuts food and the tools get a lot of use. I like food and I like to tinker with things, so this knife gets a lot of use.
3: Wallet. I live in a modern, capitalist society, so I have to buy things from time to time.
4: Main EDC knife. For the heavy cutting. Typically a Queen #31, but I'll rotate between the Queen, a Spyderco Paramilitary, Ka-Bar stockman or a Schrade 8OT.
5: Keys. Key chain has keys to my '06 Impreza and house. As much as I love to drive, I only do it twice a day most days and I only use my house keys once most days.
6: Casio Rock cellphone. I'm a very atypical cellphone user. I use my phone to make calls and that's it. I've never sent, nor received a text message, downloaded a ringtone or gone online with my phone. It gets very little use.
