Keeping this to JK knives for now, which of John's knives do you use the most?
For me it is definetly the JK Hiker's backup. Having just ordered my second Backup, I have found that this small knife will handle about 90% of my daily needs. It's small enough to make it easy to carry in several different ways. Every time I think this knife is too small,I never feel under-knifed when I carry this one.
So which JK gets the most use for you?

I'd have to say my EWOK. Although I have been using the JK Original often in the kitchen. I designed the Phoenix, but use the Original more often these days.

So far my most used would be my Ky Woodsman, only because I've had it longer than my Ky Fieldmate-It will likely become my most used.

Hi udtjim -

I use my RWC most at the moment, but now that I have the Kitchen Knife, I am sure that one will get the most use, since most of my use is in the kitchen.

I tend to use my Combat/Survival knife the most when I am outside.

I carry my pocket sized JK's around all the time, but they don't get the chance to see much action. My hatchet is the piece that gets used a lot. I love that thing!

I take my Kephart HD with me everytime I head to the woods and I'm always looking for excuses around the house to pull it out and cut something with it. I've been looking around for a bit now to find someone who could make a good tek-lok compatible kydex sheath for it as I'd like it in my edc rotation. You guys have any suggestions?

Definitely it would be my JK EWOK! It also happens to be my first JK knives, so here is one of the first shots I ever took of it.

No doubt about it. It is my EWOK. It has been on my hip since the day the postman delivered it. I use it every day.

All great knives but these two are the only ones that look used ???

Although in a recent post I said I didn't use my Hiker as much as I should, it has still been on many adventures with me...

My wife is a fanatic about keeping her knife looking new, one of the benefits of having Scotchbrite belts.

Yeah my kitchen knives are always a little better looking than my woods knives !;)

I still remember my wifes friends face when a group of us stayed in a big cabin together once and I pulled my woods knife outta the sheath and started preparing dinner with it. She asked if that was the same knife she saw me making the camp fire with earlier, sure it was I said. She then said that she hoped I'd cleaned it. I told her I always give it a wipe on my pant leg before placing it back in the sheath !:D

Hi Pit -

Did you ever show the girls a picture of a knife with a rat?? :D :p

Since I only have one, it would be my burl handled Anniversary Knife.

I used it this past deer season to field dress and skin two bucks and do some light brush clearing in the thickets. Its been on two backpacking trips where it did everything from food prep to fires. All in all a really great blade.

I have the camp knife ordered for delivery in early April, just in time for camping season. Can't wait.
