If I was to open an internet business and sell CRK on my website in the next month (hint, hint!) which knives would you guys like to see on there to buy at reasonable prices?

How about a small reg Sebenza with Widmanstätten blade and black lip mother of pearl inlay? At a resonable price of course.

Small Classic wood inlay with fancy burl, the present woods are rather plain in grain and color. Same for the Mnandi,,,,,special order fancy burls.

Regards,
FK

I want a green beret knife! At a price a college student like me can come close to affording (with only minimal starving to save cash ;)

FK, why not get a Snakewood Mnandi? Love mine, and these are somewhat available, only burl I'd consider for such a small inlay is Amboyna or Cali Buckeye, but haven't seen either offered, yet...

Hadron,
I have a Mnandi with Lacewood, tighter pattern than your Snakewood however, not as spectacular color contrast.

Chesapeake Knife & Tool has a special run of Mnandi knives in fancy burl however, they are asking a very serious premium for the option. I called CK&T and was floored at the asking price.

Regards,
FK

Any Sebenza or Mnandi with ivory. Plain white or bark mammoth would be kind of neat. Chris will most likley make these too.;)

Hey Bulldawg,

Way to go on starting up your own internet based business. Wish I had the knowhow and guts to do something like that myself. I always say I can either earn somebody else their money, or work for myself and earn my own money. Just wish I would take my own advice, but hard to get started without knowing where to start. BTW, how will your prices compare to other bigger internet knife dealers? It always seems that you can only sell at good prices if you do a lot of business. This usually means it is real hard for the new guy to be competitive. Good luck though. I look forward to seeing your site up and running.

Mike

What a great start bulldawg.

Ive seen this happen before, and surprisingly sometimes it turns out well for some people (not going to name any names).

Bulldawg -

I'm not trying to stir anything up, but your statement above sounds like you are going to sell CRK knives at less than suggested retail. Which, to my understanding, can get you in hot water with CRK.

Is that correct?

Matthew

Matthew:

It does not say less than retail price. I said REASONABLE. If you go into Chesapeake Knife and Tool and buy a regular large Sebenza with a CCG, it will cost you $600, not the suggested $415.00. That to me is NOT reasonable, where mine will be $415 with free gifts such as t-shirts, florinated grease, free shipping, things of that nature with orders over a certain amount. That is what I meant.

Thanks for the clarification. Like I said, I wasn't trying to get the controversy going, just wanted to give you a chance to clear up a possible point of confusion.

Thanks, and good luck...

Bulldawg,
Hows about:
With every sebenza/mnandi your choice of grease, or calfskin pouch (if purchasing decorated seb, then you get grease)
With every dec. sebenza, you get t-shirt or cap
With purchase of one piece, you recieve a replacement butt cap + t-shirt
For the multiple purchase, or high-end options, bonus will be decided on a customer by customer basis.
Sound good?

oh and on your web site, please choose a color other than yellow, please anything but yellow it makes things hard to read/ distinguish.
