During the last 3 or 4 months I've been getting requests for an oversized Ang Khola -- in the 25 to 30 inch rance. I hate doing specials like this one at a time simply because of the logistics involved. So, I put those requesting on hold and ordered 8 pieces of a 26.5 inch Chiruwa style Ang Khola.

It's a two hander for little guys and the old and weak like me but a workable one hander for guys like Cliff Stamp and Pen. I think it will perform equally with an axe and will do a lot of other things an axe won't.

Most of this run was done by Sher who specializes in big, heavy blades. The one pictured is by Sher. 26.5 inches and 4.6 pounds and these specs are typical. Blade is 1/2 inch thick and 3 inches wide at chopping area. Workmanship is usual Sher quality -- excellent.

Karda and chakma are nice size for use. Village sarki has done a good job with scabbard and frog.

Overall I think anybody and not just me would put this rig into the 10/10 category.

It's a hell of a rig -- good for work or a fine conversation piece on your office wall if you're a dreamer.

Price for these Mother of all Ang Kholas will be $245 delivered.

Email.

That's one big heavy AK UB. With my current back problems I don't think I could even lift that one.

Your right that there's been a lot of talk about these lately, they should go fast. They're really nice looking and look very capable of a LOT of work.

 :D :)
OK, where's a drooling icon when you need one?

If there's still one left about a month from now, Uncle, I'll be all over it. ;)

4.6 lbs. - less than my 25" AK at 5 lbs. and chiruwa to boot!

What a deal!

Bad timing...taxes have to go in tomorrow. Otherwise...

you'll regret it for sure, Nasty...these AKs are huge and amazing to behold!

I already do Dan...but I'd have to set up a personal charge account with Uncle, and I'm sure he's trying to pay his taxes too :(

:(

i have a 30" on order, and my savings acount would be down to double digits if i were to buy one of these :(:(

i have to ask myself wether or not i can justify having a 25" and 30" ak....

man is that ever a hard question :grumpy:

Debt is Good!!!!;) :D

LOL :D

that was classic  :D ....

only if you dont know how to use it  :footinmou :p the bigger you use, the more skilled technique you need :D:D

guys...it's not really that big. It's proportional. You're not going to be packin' it on your belt around town, of course,....but as long as you use it as it's intended, it feels right at home.

(speaking of a 25" AK, not of this particular one)

where's hoghead when we need him? He has a 30" AK. ;)
