I just got the Knifecenter printed catalog. The mother of all knife catalogs - 900+ pages ! It's bigger than the old timey Sears catalogs. Every knife you can imagine (except full autos). It's not free, costs $12 plus shipping, but worth every penny. I've dealt with them online a lot and didn't realize they published a catalog. The catalog prices are MSR, but the Knifecenter prices online are deeply discounted. Get a copy and spend many happy hours drooling over knives that you have to have ;-) Remember the holidays are coming. Good way to hint to the wife or girl friend (or both) for a holiday gift.

Is it in color or B&W? Are the pictures of the knives tiny, or large enough to really see details?

The price is to cover shipping. As you note, it is huge and HEAVY.

You can get it for FREE if you're placing an order for something else. Should not be hard to find something you want considering KCs pricing and inventory.

I don't believe it is "their" catalog, but a generic catalog made for knife dealers they put their name on.

Definietly worth having as a reference. Not suitable for bathroom reading...way too heavy. :D

Good size pics, almost all in color.
Descriptions/info on each item are pretty generic and short.

sure does sound like the the kind of wholesale catalogs put out for dealers/retailers with suggested retail pricing printed beneath every product description.
