i have a stider 880/t who's finish is sadly in need of rework. ive used mothers on a few of my low $$$ knives to redo/sharpen up the finish a bit on the blade and sometimes even the beltclip, do any of you think that this would seriously harm a strider other than taking the matte gray coating off the blade? i have a non tiger striped blade on my EDC so no worries there. any opinions or has anyone tried a smilar method?

thanks for lookin'!:D :D :D

I use Mother's Mag Polish on satin finish blades, and on titanium handles to give them a better finish, and works very well. Gets the scratches out, and highlights the finish better. I started with the original mag polish they came out with a couple of years ago or more, and then last year they came out with a better mag polish, and it is more like a cream, and even works better but cost over twice as much as their regular mag polish at about $11.00 a jar.I have used it on my custom knives with excellent results.
Hope this helps.
