Spot on MacHete ...the Australian Army Standard Issue 'Slouch' Hat was available from the Akubra Fur Felt Hat Company of Kempsey on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, and is still available.

Tim Bender's hats can't be beat IMHO along with my younger bros as well.:thumbup:
That is if you want really authentic period hats that are ageless as far as style goes. My younger bro has at least one of Tim's hats that I know of, I still haven't gotten mine, yet.
