Hey guys! Here's a recent one, it is sold but I hope you enjoy the pics! I had a lot of fun making this one, I tried a scalloped swedge and think it came out nicely.

Here's the new Motivator in 6al4v Aerospace Grade Titanium with a 72 RC Carbide Edge. I stonewashed, heat colored then again stonewashed the knife for a great looking and more durable finish. Scalloped Swedge!

- Ultralight, slim, easy to carry design.
- Chisel Grind
- Scalloped Swedge
~5.5" Total
~2.5" Blade
~.100" Thick
- Stonewashed/Heat Colored/ Stonewash Finish

Sold - www.fairlyknives.com

:D Pardon the lint! I took these outside while it was snowing.

Outstanding, D!

Thanks Bobby! :D Much appreciated.

random notes...
This one is oriented for utility or self defense, the grind and blade shape work well for most tasks.
Carry options - the sheath is teklok or IWB band compatible... a customer just sent me a pic of a TiBOK carried sideways on the front of the belt which I think is an excellent way to carry

You are forgiven, Daniel... for your c esta!
VERY cool.

:D Much appreciated!

C esta for sure the last few days with this food poisoning but some behind the scenes action has been going on just before that...

8 Backpackers went out this week and 8 more next week but I'll spare you guys the pics... over 200 made so far! :D

I'll have rigging knife pics up tomorrow too. :D

But yeah, lol enough of that! :D I might have to make some more of these.

D, horizontal carry on the left for cross draw?

:D

That was the way I saw it, I'll see if I can share the pic. Excellent idea...

I sometimes use a single IWB to carry somewhat like this...Backpacker at 45 degree angle with the IWB looped all the way around the sheath and belt. Not in the waistband though... OWB :D easy to do and takes just one loop... this method is somewhat loose (when the knife is drawn... probably need the correct belt width) so in my opinion better for casual use than self defense every day carry.

I use the same crossdraw for all of my DFK's. My PF and Recurve, and former PF. It's very convenient!

I use the good old standard strong side hip for most my knives. I have a few sheaths set up for scout style carry as well. Really like scout style. This one^^ though would be an awesome IWB carry for sure! Although, I can see boot carry being it's major strong point! No rusting, super thin, light weight, pokey/stabby, and best of all, it's a DFK!

Same here with the hip carry especially on large knives... I am all about fixed blades that fit in my front pocket too.

Great point on the boot carry, this design is ideal for that.

I better get back in the shop and make more! :D
