I am so tired of this miserable weather... Three Harleys and haven't got a good ride in yet.. Any of you guys got to ride yet?

Between crappy weather, stay at home initiative, and spending time with our kids, I haven’t mounted my motorcycle yet at all this season. I did crank it up just to make sure the battery is still good tho.

Rode thru the whole winter, & today will be almost 90 degrees and a month early.
Good luck getting out!

I have been thinking about getting a bike not that I don't want a Harley but I would rather get something less expensive so if I like it I have something to move up to.

Do any of you have expierance with the Honda Shadow? what do you think of it? I have seen a few of these aobut and I like the way they look.

I don’t think you can go wrong with a Honda, but remember you can’t see the bike while you’re riding it-find one that fits, is fun, and you enjoy being on. I didn’t fit on a Shadow well so I went another direction but I know they have some diehard fans.

I will defiantly keep that in mind whilst on my hunt.

Not a very seasoned rider, but I've owned two bikes, both Honda. My first was a CB250R a great little learner bike and for running around in the city. Sold it before my last move. Last year, I lucked into a used CB500X. Both have been great to me! The more upright seating position of the 500X has made the experience much more enjoyable with less lower back aches.

Oh yea - It has been really nice down here most days since Feb. I have a fuel problem with the FXDI so I have not had it out yet.
I rode the Concours over to the Jack Daniels Distillery to see what it looked like in shutdown - it's eerie with nobody there and the gates locked.
best
