Motor Help

Wow, 3hp would be one heck of a strong disk grinder. i would put that thing on a belt grinder and find a 1.5hp motor for a disc setup. Guys say's it's new but also has an "out" by saying he doesnt know if it works. Should be fairly simple wiring and luckily has the book.
 
No I didn't bid, the 3 hp and 7/8" shaft was keeping me at bay, plus there's a guy selling a 1.4 hp ac w/ starting bid at $25. I've been trying to get him to sell me one for $60 outrite b/c he said he had 36 to move. Here's the link for that one:

It's dual speed 3450/1725, reversible and has a 5/8" shaft. If he gets back to me I'll be buying one of these. Unless you guys think I could find a better deal somewhere else.
