Motor turns the wrong way

Hooray for me - I finally got my KMG!!!

Now, the motor I wanted to mount seems to turn the wrong way to do the set up that I have seen everyone else do ( motor on the side). I can of course mount the motor behind the KMG - but the on/off switch is awkward that way.

Is it time to see how the other motors turn? If so I need to make some mounts - and I wanted to start grinding tonight.

Don't know about DC, but if it's AC is it reversable? It should tell you with a wiring diagram either outside on a spec. sheet or inside the electricle cover. If it's reversable just go by the wiring diagram and hook up power the way it says. If it's not reversable, you'll have to come up with something else.
 
Did IG wire your shop?
Check under the cover of the wiring box on the motor there should be a CW/CCW notation if it can be reversed.If it is a DC motor,just reverse the plus and minus leads.
