Someone else said it was a Gerber Instant :p I won't judge his knife choice because the knife you have on you, is the best knife.
 
Kinda does look like a Gerber Instant. I don't have a positve ID though. Sometimes a serrated knife does come in handy though.

The knife used is a Gerber Swagger (I believe). As far as 440A AO plunge-lock knives go, it's not bad. Most people could get by with keychain SAKs or $5 Tac-Force knives, really.
I appreciate the guy's chivalry, really, but he shouldn't have moved her. The "smoke" was probably evaporating fluids. If you don't see flames leave them for the EMTs, moving them could cause serious injury.
Having said that, everyone's desire to help really restores your faith in humanity. Of course if you want to lose it, read the You-Tube comments...:(
