I just picked up a sweet little camera, called a Gopro, which was originally designed for surfing, but it's getting used for all sorts of sports now. It's HD, and it is tiny!

The helmet mount is what I used in these videos, but there are all sorts of contraptions that allow a lot more versatility. I have a lot to learn!

I hope you enjoy this.

Pretty cool video! I do a bit of mountain biking here on the central coast of California. I've been learning to surf, too!

What kind of bike were you on? Makes me miss being able to ride.

What were all the white posts for?

good stuff. Haven't been on that website for a couple of years now so thanks for reminding me about it. Really liked your commute video.

That looked like some good picture quality. I'd like to get a setup like that, so my wife could get mad at me for the stuff I like to ride.

Nice job on the ladder ride! Those skinny ones just throw me off.

Man, that's a lot better than the setup I used in college. I had a tape camcorder that I built a handlebar "mount" for out of some scrap woods, long bolts, brackets, felt, and some sturdy straps. It ended up working great, but I was always afraid of crashing, since that was a guaranteed way to lose $700.

I'm sure you know but make sure you look at the ladder and not the ground. You go where you look. Thats why when you look at a rock on the trail there is a good chance you hit it. And also remember that your back wheel tracks inside of your front one when turning.

We didn't have many mountains in Florida but there was plenty of technical riding and lots of rock quarries to ride. For some reason the technical stuff was easy for me. I could actually recover during a race in the technical stuff and usually put a gap between other racers.

That's my favorite kind of riding right there. I'm hoping to get out to the north shore one summer. My 5" trail bike is back at home across the country right now :-(

Glad you're having fun doing the best sport ever.
