I made this custom 'Brut de Forge' style camp/field knife for a traveler and cook and name it the Kampknive.
It's forged on a coal fire out of modified CM60 steel, hidden tang, desert ironwood burl handle with on the top a dutch silver coin from 1939, silver/nickel pin, convex edge.
The week i finished this knife was the week of trone chainge of hour queen to king, so i liked to cut the queens head in two parts what you can see on the silver coin;)
Thanx for watching, take care Igor!

That dutch coin I think is my favourite part. Such a great idea.

The blade looks very sturdy and the grip looks comfy if a bit small. Have you done any testing to see how well it works?

Thanx Caden, the grip is indeed long but smaller than i normally do, but the customer said to use it more for cooking so it will work fine.
And yes i tested the edge, holds up very nice and cuts great even if you use it for cutting wood and tomatoes;)

Looks like a brute!! I have to agree and would find the handle a little small but if just for cooking and chopping food then it is great looking knife!
